In pursuit to examine the obstacles to an effective institutional working progress, the Commission launched a strategic plan for July 2020 - June 2025 in order to help in monitoring the progress of the institutional journey, its framework through which the institutions management can mitigate and address all the unidentified challenges and exploit strengths and opportunities. Importantly it provides measurable parameters that you can utilize to measure the progress and performance.

During the launch, Kenyans were assured of a peaceful 2022 general elections whereby strong multiagency team has been set-aside in preparation for the elections to ensures that peace prevails. The Minister of interior assured Kenyans that there’s more preparedness in the 2022 elections as compared to 2017. Kenyans are requested to maintain peace and cohesiveness among one another to better our Country.

The strategic plans shows how the Commission is progressing. A warning was sent to those involving in hate speech whereby the Commission said a special court should be established to handle hate speech cases.
