The Transmara region in Narok County has experienced perennial conflicts over the years. The Commission led by Assistant Director, Peacebuilding and Reconciliation department, Mr. Liban Guyo held an inter-clan dialogue forum on November 30, 2020 in Transmara West Subcounty in Narok County. The forum was attended by the 20 member select peace committee of elders from Uasin Nkishu and Siria Clans. The objective of the forum was to deliberate on issues around the 30 acre piece of land along the border of the two clans that has been a source of conflict and to develop a comprehensive report on the piece of land.
