The Commission recognizes the role of public transport sector in enhancing peaceful coexistence in Kenya. Thus, the Commission engaged with the transport providers in Trans Nzoia County on 20th November 2020. Led by Commissioner Dorcas Kedogo, the participants were urged to spread peace messages in their jurisdictions. She emphasized on the importance of the public transport sector and also urged the participants to desist being used to cause division among Kenyans. Mr. Killian Nyambu, Assistant Director Civic Education and Advocacy also emphasized on the need of the transport providers to embrace the national values in their work.
