NCIC, in partnership with GIZ and NSC, is currently working on the Rapid Conflict Assessment (RCA) program that seeks to acquire a detailed understanding of the peace and security situation in the country, with the aim of informing programming for 2022 electoral violence prevention and management.

The RCA taskforce is collecting data in 13 select counties including: Nairobi, Nyeri, Kiambu, Kisumu, Kakamega, Narok, Nakuru, Mombasa, Kilifi, Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Machakos, and Nandi through focus group discussions and individual interviews with relevant stakeholders. Phase two of data collection is taking place in Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Kisumu, Kakamega, Mombasa and Kilifi Counties, between 8th November to 22nd November, 2020
