On 21st February, 2020, Commissioner Dr. Danvas Makori and Sam Kona lead team of NCIC officers: Senior auditor, Philip Wuantai, Assistant Director Legal Department, Mr.Kyalo Mwengi and Ms. Susan Ndakalu CEAD to Narok County where they paid courtesy call to the County Commissioner.

The subject of discussion at the meeting centered on National values, peace and cohesion while also establishing the status of security in the region. Mr. Kimiti cited clannism, land disputes, post-election violence, Nkararo boundary conflict, as the major causes of conflict in the region while his efforts in dealing with security issues in the county were appreciated.

The commissioner also briefed Governor Samuel Tunai on the Commission’s plan on engaging the youth in activities such as sports and also engaging the professionals and religious leaders in reconciling the Wuasi Nkishu and Siria clans.
