More schools from various parts of the region joined the club. Examples; Ndege primary, Sankuri Sec., Eldas Girls, Kulmiye High sch., Iqra Junior Academy. |
-Reaching most of the school due to distance. -Some schools that accepted did not participate in any of the peace club activities. |

Essay writing

- Many schools participated In the essay writing. That is; Al-Hidaya, Habaswein and Kulmiye primary schools. -Senior. Chief Ogle Girls, Furaha mixed day sec. school, Habaswein Boys, Ademasajida Mixed and Kulmiye High Sec. Schools |
-Late submission by some of the schools.
-No cover pages for some essays.
-Some Patrons did not guide their members on the topic hence each Student wrote on their on topics.
- Lack of cooperation from language teachers of some schools. They refused to assist the patrons in marking the essays at school level. I had to request my colleagues to do the same. - Limit set by NCIC that only five essays per county to be submitted at the National level hence leaving out most of the best written essays which would in future demoralize the members. Members inquired to know reasons behind that. -Some patrons’ T-shirts went missing. |

Workshop held at Senior Chief Ogle Secondary School and Habaswein Boys sec. School. -Peaceful coexistence in schools through peace education. -The role of youth in peace building. -Hand washing was also done. |

Eight schools participated that is; -Al-Hidaya, Habaswein, Kulmiye and Kibilay Girls primary schools. -Senior Chief Ogle, Habaswein Boys, Habaswein Mixed and Kulmiye High Sec. Schools ( Attached find the report on what was discussed ) |
- A substantial number of schools did not attend due to Short notice that I was given and also most of the schools were busy doing the end term exams. -Some were engaged in other co curricular activities such as games and sports. |
