The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) through Civic Education and Advocacy Department held an Amani Clubs Patrons’ Induction Workshop in Kiambu County at Uthiru Girls’ High school on 3rd August 2018.
The objective of the training workshop was to enhance understanding of the Amani Club Guidelines and enable participants to establish and sustain Amani Club in their respective institutions and use them as alternative means of inculcating discipline through dialogue which will eventually create cohesion and Integration among the members of the school and the community.
The Training Workshop was attended by CEAD, Assistant Director, Mr. Killian Nyambu. The Training was able to draw over 50 teachers from various schools within Kiambu County.
