Finance and Administration

The Department is the administrative arm of NCIC. It provides administrative coordination in the prudent management of finance, human resource, procurement and physical assets of the organization. The Department is composed of the following divisions/unit:-

  1. Finance and Accounts
  2. Human Resource and Administration
  3. Procurement - We follow the provisions of the Public Procurement Act in all our procurements
  4. Information Communication Technology
  5. Internal Audit Functions

 

Specific duties and responsibilities of the Department include:

  • Providing logistics support to the program Divisions and units;
  • Overseeing the provision of security services, documentation and records keeping;
  • Facilitating results based planning and performance measurement;
  • Coordinating preparation of the Commission’s budget;
  • Overseeing finance management, administration support and logistics, human resource management, accounting and procurement services at the Commission; and
  • Reviewing the Budget implementation to ensure it is in line with the budgeted activities.
